One of those rare days when there was no need to leave the Compound...so we didn't. This was to be "domestic day". The weather was quite fallish, with sun at times and cloud cover at times, but the temp probably never got over 65. I made and installed a new window sill for the bathroom...we cleaned out the closet by the fireplace and the one near the dining room table...cleaned pellet stove glass...spectacular tamale lunch with refried beans and salad...hung grapevine wreathes in the house...salad with grilled chicken for dinner. Watched King Ralph in the evening, which came quick, of course, due to the time
