Another day in paradise, but did we just lounge around like angels on clouds? Nay, nay I say! Long about 9:30 or so we went outside to work, and work we did. It was leaf removal day, after the big winds of last week. Fire up my little tractor, tie a large tarp to the back, and rake rake rake, drag drag drag the leaves out to the burn pile. Then, light the burn pile on fire. Then, make about four different piles around the house and burn them. Phfritzie worked like a whirling dervish all the day. I had a twisted ankle but worked on it anyway. We had a phfine pizza for lunch. The corn stubble to the east was burned this day. Autumn gave us a paper snowflake. Raymond stupor in the
