Sweet God in Heaven...we had rain this morning! The first rain here in the Valley since Thanksgiving...Was it a driving, pelting, stinging, sideways-blowing rain? Well, nooooooo. In fact it was a gentle, soft rain that did not measure up to much but no complain, eh?...Buzzed up to South Sac for a Christmas present run, then down to Courtland to mail something off to Tarah and Mason and go in to Courtland Market to order some tamales only to be told there at the counter that it was, in fact THURSDAY, not Wednesday, the cut-off day for ordering. Like an idiot, I ran out of the store. I also found the time for the inaugural launch of my kite....the rain was gone by around noon and the sun was out and there was wind so Autumn held the kite and....up she went, then down she came. Must go to the
