How did I love this day? Let me count the ways: I loved it in the morning, when Phrit and I feasted on a breakfast of linguisa sausage, eggs from the Pensters, potato pancakes w/ jalapeno, and toasted English Muffins. Talk to Daddy!....Then I loved the various chores that we did this morning...raking, laundry, soup-making, etc...then I REALLY loved when we loaded up the van and headed out to go on a picnic and fishing outing. I loved it when we stopped in Isleton, on a whim, to check out their public dock. They have a spectacular dock AND fishing pier! Although we were headed to Antioch, we decided to stay in Isleton, and it was good. Sunshine, no wind, hot soup for lunch, free bait and lure, meeting people, onion rings and cold beer in town...all good. Then I loved it when Phfrit bought me an ice cream cone in Walnut Grove and we visited the Ironworks in the old theatre there.
