The middle of January. The dead of winter. Burried under mountains of.....sun! Ol' Sol peeks over the horizon long about 7:30 or so, directly out my back window, and throws shafts of golden light all the way into my main living chamber. I love it. I recall living in the Wenatchee Valley at this time of year and being caught in the high pressure blanket of low clouds that sometimes stuck around for two weeks. Two weeks with no sun. Must. Have. Sun. Around here Ol' Sol drops down below the Western horizon long about 5:00 or so in the evening this time of year, and this no less of a magic moment onnacounta the sunsets are quite swell....worked in redwood this sunny day constructing Phfritzie's Moroccan arch, and installing it on the back of the Penster Mansion....hoping for clouds and rain tomorrow, but in the mean time I'll take
