Whereas later this week we are supposed to get up into the mid 70's, today was not even close. Cloudy....cool all the day. Started this day with a special breakfast cooked by Phfrit, who, if not careful, will shortly become the de facto breakfast cook here at The Shack onnacounta she cooks so well. Cute little sausage links...eggs over-easy (truly)...toasted seeded bagel...a little strawberry jam...fruit juice to wash down the morning vitamins...Ahhhhh. And then? Nothing. The art of doing nothing. It was, after all, a holiday. I think. No matter....we hung out and puttered about and read and laughed and visited with Autumn (who told me I wasn't free) and then Dear Phfrit headed upriver long about 3:00 or so.
