In the immortal words of someone named Phfritzie, today was "drop-dead gorgeous". When I stop to think of the 27 years I spent in North Central Washington...all those winters...plugging in the car to heat the block...frozen door handles...pouring concrete in zero degrees...brrrrrrrrrrr....This is one mild winter, I tells ya. Today the installers came to, well, INSTALL the gas fireplace insert that Autumn won at the Home Show a couple of weeks ago. Came, they did, a husband/wife team with a very nice tool trailer with ladders and side-opening doors and such, and they installed for about an hour or so and then left. This would have been perfect except for the fact that they did not install the finish trim package because it was not loaded onto their truck as it should have been. No worries, they came back in the afternoon to finish. All is well....reading Sarge, The Life and Times of Sargent Shriver.
