The sun came up. On time. And then do you know what happened? Did you think it was foggy? Wrong. Did you think it was rainy? Wrong. Did you think it was calm and much like the desert? Wrong. It was windy, and it stayed windy all of the day. How windy was it? Well, I'll tell ya: It was a biting, piercing, stinging, howling, bone-chilling wind of around twenty-five miles per hour and it rattled my screen door and it wiggled my wind chimes and it knocked oranges off my tree and it caused branches to fall from my sycamores and it made the wheat field out back resemble the famous amber waves of grain and it agitated the chickens and it blew things through the air (which is, in fact, the wind) and once again I must say that it was a stirring, jarring, bothersome, pesky, annoying, potetially dangerous batch of stoopid
