Phfrit and I took a little road trip this day to the city of Davis. Ostensibly we were going to visit the arboretum, just because we could...I was interested in seeing the redwood grove. It was lunch time when we arrived so we went to our old haunt, The Hotdog Shop on the main drag downtown. Phfrit got a polish with garlic mustard and kraut and I got a chili-cheese dog. We ate outside on the sidewalk in the cold and the sun. We then went to a thrift store where I scored a teapot and a kite. Then to a Tibettan store where Phfrit scored a Gamesh plaque and some swell earrings. Then a slice and a porter (sport eating)...then to the arboretum, which proved elusive onnacounata parking. Maybe next
