So now I have been posting here since November 3. Howaboutme?...and we have reached the last day of the year 2011. On this drop-dead gorgeous day Phfrit and I toddled off to Benecia, on a caper to find the Glass Beach. I took the overland route, so as to avoid the two toll bridges required by the lower route, a savings of ten buckaroos. It's only four miles longer. So we we won that round. Benicia is a swell little town, and they maximize their location on the water, that body being the Carquinez Straight. Saw two good boat launches, with fishing piers at each. Lunch at Taco Bell, and we loved it. Found the Glass Beach, but it had been picked over pretty good...did find some treasures, though. Went to a nifty art gallery. A lady farted on me in an antique store. Stopped in Suisun City....fine marina and funky little town with a very elegant hair salon...go figger. Evening feast of rosemary lemon garlic chicken breast ala Phfritzie and early to bed. A wonderful
